Paul Lang

Paul has been teaching kiteboarding for five years now. Besides running West Coast Kiteboarding, he also teaches kiteboarding for South Coast Kiteboarding, based in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Paul is also the former Lead Instructor of the windsports (sailing, windsurfing, and kiteboarding) program at the one of the largest collegiate aquatic centers in the world.

Paul is also the Assistant Editor and Instructional Expert of The Kiteboarder Magazine.  His background in watersports instruction has given him years of experience teaching a variety of watersports; experience that most kiteboarding instructors are lacking.  He is also a Regional Team Rider for Liquid Force Kiteboarding.  Paul has kiteboarded all over Southern California, San Francisco Bay, Baja California, Maui, Texas, and Puerto Rico.

Besides being a kiteboarding instructor, Paul is also a US SAILING certified small boat, keelboat, and powerboat instructor. He is  certified as a Lifeguard and as a Wilderness First Responder, and holds a degree in Recreation Administration from San Diego State University.
