Your lesson includes the use of all kiteboarding equipment.

We teach with full sized 4-line and 5-line inflatable kites,
the same type of kites you will use after your lesson.  Our student to instructor ratio is never more than 2 to 1.

Our professional instructors thrive on helping you meet your goals.

Lessons in San Diego and San Quintin, Baja California.

Kite Skills $169
The fastest and safest way to learn how to kiteboard is to develop solid kite skills before you attempt to use a board. During this land based lesson you will rig, launch, fly, troubleshoot, land, and de-rig a full sized 4-line inflatable kite. Other topics include selecting the correct equipment, safety systems, local site orientation, and basic kitesurfing etiquette.  The class is usually 2-3 hours, but we work with you until you master the learning objectives, however long that may take.

Kite Skills Plus $229
An extended version of our popular Kite Skills lesson, this class is designed for people who want to finish learning to kiteboard on their own.  By the end of this lesson, you will have flown a full size kite on full length lines.  You will leave this lesson with the skills and knowledge to safely practice kiteboarding on your own.  If you have surfing experience, wakeboarding experience, or are simply comfortable in the water then this may be the only class you need to start kiteboarding on your own.  This lesson is perfect at our San Diego location, where there is not always enough wind for the water skills lesson.  This class is usually 3-4 hours, but we work with you until you master the learning objectives, however long that may take.

Water Skills $169
Now that you can fly a full sized kite with safe, confident control (see our Kite Skills class), you are ready to get in the water. This session you will help you develop the skills you need to kitesurf safely and successfully in the water. You will be introduced to water relaunching your kite, self rescues, power-dragging, using a harness, water starting, and board control. By the end of this session you will have completed the basic foundation you need to kiteboard on your own.  The class is usually 2-3 hours, but we work with you until you master the learning objectives, however long that may take.

New Rider Package $299
The NRP is a combination of the Kite Skills and Board Skills classes and is the most effective way to go from having little or no kiteboarding experience to being able to ride on your own.  We recommend the New Rider Package for anybody taking lessons at our San Quintin location.

Evolution Clinic $149
Now that you know the basics, take the next step. Correct your bad habits and learn correct body position, transitions, riding upwind, and/or jumping. This class is taught as a two hour clinic, with your instructor giving you tips as you ride. This clinic is only available at our San Quintin location.

New Gear Orientation $89
Got some new gear and aren't quite sure how to rig it?  Let us help you get your new rig tuned up!  Our instructors have experience flying almost every different kite on the market, so we'll be able to get you rigged up and ready to go in a hurry.  This lesson lasts one hour and is not meant to take the place of an instructional lesson.

Private Lessons $125/hour
If your goals are beyond the scope of our standard classes, if you have unique skills and/or experience, or if you prefer one-on-one focused instruction then you are ready for private lessons. During your private lesson you and your instructor will work closely together towards efficiently meeting your goals during the time period that you decide is best. Common topics include riding upwind, jumping, riding switch, transitions, new equipment orientation, basic skill review, riding in the surf, and basic tricks.

Photo Session Lesson $229
Stop trying to convince your friends that you are a ripper and offer them proof - get a private session with a published kiteboarding photographer AND tips on how to improve your riding at the same time. For more info, check out our Photo Sessions Lesson Page.
